These features include a snug strap included as standard, so the new Trail is more suitable for faster work when used with this strap (but the New Mac is still recommended for tougher conditions or deeper going).
The New Trail features a more refined and improved upper, with a host of improvements over the original Trail boot, making it far more secure and much more resilient to damage. The sole of the hoof boot is constructed from a specially developed ThermoPlastic Urethane (TPU) compound, which absorbs shock and aids recovery from concussion related injuries, as well as helping to prevent them. The New Trail has the Mac's unique high-tech performance out sole, incorporating the unique hoof suspension system. The New Trail multipurpose horse boots are the second generation Trail hoof boots, and have been given a complete overhaul and significant improvements, many of which are shared by the New Mac (the updated version of the best selling Old Mac G2).
